Directions from Hotels to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field

American Inn to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from American Inn lot, turn right onto El Camino Real and immediately get into left lane
  • follow El Camino Real to a left on Castro Street--you will go only about five buildings before you come to Castro Street, not even a whole block
  • Castro Street will become Moffett Boulevard at the railroad tracks, so continue on to Moffett Field

Crestview Hotel to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Crestview lot, turn right onto El Camino Real and immediately get into left lane and make a u-turn back onto El Camino
  • get into right lane on El Camino and turn right onto Hwy 85 North
  • stay in the right lane and exit at the third exit: Moffett Boulevard
  • turn right on Moffett Boulevard at the light at the end of the exit and continue on to Moffett Field

Four Points Sheraton Sunnyvale to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Four Points Sheraton Sunnyvale lot, turn left onto Lakeside Drive
  • turn right onto Lawrence Expressway and stay to the right to exit onto Hwy 101 North
  • stay on Hwy 101 North to the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit; take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street exit.

Hilton Garden Inn to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Hilton Garden Inn lot, turn right onto El Camino Real
  • stay in right lane on El Camino and turn right onto Hwy 85 North
  • stay in the right lane and exit at the third exit: Moffett Boulevard
  • turn right on Moffett Boulevard at the light at the end of the exit and continue on to Moffett Field

Hilton of Santa Clara to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Hilton of Santa Clara lot, turn onto Great America Parkway and make an immediate u-turn, stay in right lane and head back on Great America Parkway toward Hwy 101
  • take the Hwy 101 North exit and follow Hwy 101 North to Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field; take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street


Hotel Lodge to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Hotel Lodge lot, turn right onto El Camino Real
  • follow El Camino and turn right onto Castro Street-just a few lights, so stay in the right lane
    Castro Street will become Moffett Boulevard at the railroad tracks, so continue on to Moffett Field

Hyatt Rickey's to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Hyatt Rickey's lot, turn right onto El Camino Real
  • turn right on Charleston at the next light and follow Charleston to Hwy 101 South
  • stay on Hwy 101 South and exit at Moffett Field exit -Note: it's a bit tricky in that the first Moffett exit says Moffett Boulevard, but you want the very next part of that same cloverleaf exit which says Moffett Field
  • Moffett Field exit will bring you directly to Moffett

Marriott Residence Inn to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Marriott Residence Inn/Mountain View lot, turn right onto El Camino Real
  • make an immediate u-turn on Escuela and head southeast on El Camino Real
  • at the third light, turn left on Castro Street and follow Castro.
  • Castro Street will become Moffett Boulevard at the railroad tracks, so continue on to Moffett Field

The Pacific Inn of Mountain View to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Pacific Inn Mountain View lot, turn right onto El Camino Real and get into the left lane
  • make an immediate u-turn at Ortega back onto El Camino, heading southeast
  • turn left on Castro Street and follow Castro
  • Castro Street will become Moffett Boulevard at the railroad tracks, so continue on to Moffett Field

The Pacific Inn Sunnyvale to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Pacific Inn Sunnyvale lot, turn left onto Sunnyvale Avenue
  • turn right onto Washington
  • turn right onto Mathilda Avenue and follow Mathilda to Hwy 101 North
  • take the Hwy 101 North exit and follow Hwy 101 North to Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field; take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street

Plaza Suites Silicon Valley to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Plaza Suites Silicon Valley lot, turn right onto Lakeside Drive
  • follow Lakeside around the curve and turn left onto Augustine by Denny's
  • make the next left at the light onto Great America Parkway and take Hwy 101 North
  • take the Hwy 101 North exit and follow Hwy 101 North to Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field; take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street

Santa Clara Marriott to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Santa Clara Marriott lot, turn left onto Mission College Boulevard
  • make next right onto Great America Parkway and take Hwy 101 North
  • take the Hwy 101 North exit and follow Hwy 101 North to Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field;
  • take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street

Sheraton Palo Alto to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Sheraton Palo Alto lot, turn right onto El Camino Real, heading North
    at the next cross street, turn right onto University and follow University to Hwy 101 South
    stay on Hwy 101 South and exit at Moffett Field exit -Note: it's a bit tricky in that the first Moffett exit says Moffett Boulevard, but you want the very next part of that same cloverleaf exit which says Moffett Field
    -Moffett Field exit will bring you directly to Moffett

Silicon Valley Residence Inn I to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Silicon Valley Residence Inn I lot, turn left onto Lakeway Drive
  • turn right onto Oakmead and follow to the big intersection at Lawrence Expressway
  • turn right onto Lawrence Expressway and take Hwy 101 North
  • take the Hwy 101 North exit and follow Hwy 101 North to Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field; take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street

Silicon Valley Residence Inn II to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Silicon Valley Residence Inn II lot, turn left onto Stewart Drive
  • make an immediate right onto Oakmead and get into the left lane
  • turn left on Lawrence Expressway and immediately get into the right lane to exit onto Hwy 101 North
  • take the Hwy 101 North exit and follow Hwy 101 North to Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field;
  • take that exit and go directly into Moffett. Note: do not take the first Moffett Field/Ellis Street exit that you will see, take the Moffett Boulevard-Moffett Field exit which comes after the Moffet Field/Ellis Street

Westin Palo Alto to NASA Ames Research Center/Moffett Field:

  • from Westin Palo Alto lot, turn right onto El Camino Real, heading North
